At the 3rd of May 2019 at 6 p.m. in the Optik Hallmann shop, Søndergade 6, 6200 Aabenraa, Denmark will be the opening of the exhibition with my new Aabenraa paintings.

The last days and weeks I took several chances to do a drainting (draw and paint) in Aabenraa, whenever the sun was shining.

I am driving an emobile and when its is loading I love to go to the „Kunstmuseet Brundlund Slot“, and to sit there in the garden and do my sketches.

I started with this one, and you can bet it was cold then:

One week later i did the next one. The weather was still could and feeling like winter!

But this week, spring is there and bringst everything into movement and spring dace 🙂

While I am sitting on the park bench, doing the sketch above, the gardener curves with his grass cutter around me. I cannot stand drawing him. the funniest thing was that there was standing „tiger“ and „Praktisch“ on his machine. For me it made the „park tiger“ out of him, and I had to love – he does not look like this. But maybe in his mind he is??? What does he think about driving around and cutting grass, getting into meditation.. guess what – I had some ideas:
